It was established in 1955. The company in its current form was established on March 30, 1989 through the merger of three large companies, namely Sui Gas Transmission Company Limited, Karachi Gas Company Limited and Indus Gas Company Limited.
Sui Southern Gas Company is the largest industrial gas company in Pakistan. The company is committed to the supply and distribution of natural gas in the southern part of Pakistan, especially in Sindh and Balochistan. Sui Southern gas organization’s transmission system extends from Sui, Balochistan to Karachi, Sindh.
